Mytusa

Mytusa [«Митуса»]. A modernist monthly literature and art journal edited by the poets Vasyl Bobynsky and Roman Kupchynsky and the artist Pavlo Kovzhun, four issues of which were published in Lviv from January to April 1922. The periodical was named after a medieval Galician bard and had a symbolist profile. Among its contributors (many of them Ukrainian Sich Riflemen veterans) were the writers Oles Babii, Yurii Shkrumeliak, Antin Pavliuk (Yavir), Mykhailo Obidny, Borys Homzyn, Yurii Lypa, and Dmytro Zahul, the critic Mykhailo Rudnytsky, and the scholar Volodymyr Sichynsky. Works by Heorhii Narbut, Alexander Archipenko, and Kovzhun were reproduced in the journal.
