Andriievsky, Borys [Андрієвський, Борис; Andrijevs'kyj], b 28 July 1898 in Bezsaly, Poltava gubernia, d 20 October 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio. Surgeon, brother of Dmytro Andriievsky. Andriievsky was a professor of surgery at the Dnipropetrovsk Medical Institute and, in 1943–44, at the Lviv Medical Institute. He wrote more than 30 scientific works. As a displaced person in Germany after the Second World War he was one of the organizers of the Ukrainian Red Cross; in 1952 he emigrated to the United States.
