Halych Gospel (13th century) (Галицьке Євангеліє; Halyske Yevanheliie). A gospel written in Old Ukrainian (see Ukrainian language) between 1266 and 1301, most likely in 1288. An aprakos-evangelium of 175 folios, it was copied by the Presbyter Georgii in or near Halych from a Bulgarian original. The manuscript is preserved at the Saint Petersburg Public Library. Fragments of it were published by Aleksei Sobolevsky (1884), who also studied the language of the text.
