Samoilovych, Zakhariia [Самойлович, Захарія; Samojlovyč, Zaxarija] (Samuilovych), b and d ? Engraver of Oleksander Tarasevych's school. In 1691–1706 he worked in Kyiv (for the Kyivan Cave Monastery Press) and Moscow. The 14 copper engravings known to be done by him include the large Adoration of the Magi depicting Tsars Peter I and Ivan Alekseevich and the Cossack starshyna (dedicated to Hetman Ivan Mazepa), The Resurrection (1691), the philosophical thesis of H. Terpylovsky (1699–1706), The Theotokos, Saint Stephen, Saint Catherine, and Saint Gregory the Great.
