Stavnytsky, Vasyl [Ставницький, Василь; Stavnyc'kyj, Vasyl'], b ?, d 1730 in Lviv. Printer; son of Semen Stavnytsky. He directed the printing press founded by Bishop Yosyf Shumliansky at Saint George's Cathedral in Lviv (1687–8). He then worked with his father at the Lviv Dormition Brotherhood Press and succeeded him as director in 1697.
