Tkachenko, Yuliia [Ткаченко, Юлія; Tkačenko, Julija], b 25 July 1928 in Kyiv, 21 March 2008 in Kyiv. Stage actress. She completed study at the Kyiv Institute of Theater Arts (1950) and was a leading actress in the Kyiv Ukrainian Drama Theater, acclaimed for playing the title role in Lesia Ukrainka’s Kassandra and Inhiherda (Ingigerth) in Ivan Kocherha’s Iaroslav Mudryi (Yaroslav the Wise).
