Trybuna [«Трибуна»; Tribune]. A daily nonpartisan, pro-Ukrainian National Republic newspaper published in Kyiv from December 1918 to February 1919 by Z. Bisky. It was edited by Oleksander Salikovsky, and among its more prominent contributors were Symon Petliura, Valentyn Sadovsky, Serhii Yefremov, Oleksander Kovalevsky, Liudmyla Starytska-Cherniakhivska, Petro Stebnytsky, Makar Kushnir, and Nadiia Surovtsova. The newspaper had a well-organized group of regular reporters and was one of the best and most popular papers of the time; it appeared in a pressrun of 7,000 to 15,000 copies. For some time a separate Russian-language edition, Stolichnyi golos, was also published.
