Ushytsia River [Ушиця; Ušycja]. (Map: Ushytsia River.) A left-bank tributary of the Dnister River that flows for 122 km through Khmelnytskyi oblast and drains a basin area of 1,420 sq km. Fed by rain and meltwater and characterized by a narrow, ravine-like valley (0.3–1.3 km), the river is 10–15 m wide. It is used for irrigation and fishing.
