Bratslav vicegerency

Bratslav vicegerency [Ukrainian: Брацлавське намісництво, Bratslavske namisnytstvo; Russian: Брацлавское намесничество, Bratslavskoe namesnichestvo]. An administrative territory in Right-Bank Ukraine, set up in 1793 after the partition of Poland. It consisted mainly of the lands of the former Bratslav voivodeship and included 13 counties.

Until 1795 Vinnytsia was its administrative center. Subsequently the administrative center was moved to Bratslav. In 1796 the vicegerency was abolished, and its territory was divided between Podilia gubernia and Kyiv gubernia.
