Knyhospilka (New York) [Книгоспілка; Book Union]. A publishing house founded in New York in 1952 by A. Bilous, O. Balynsky, and I. Krylov. It reprinted by offset Mykhailo Hrushevsky’s Istoriia ukraïns'koï literatury (The History of Ukrainian Literature, 5 vols, 1959–60) and Istoriia Ukraïny-Rusy (The History of Ukraine-Rus', 10 vols, 1954–8) and Hryhorii Holoskevych’s Pravopysnyi slovnyk (Orthographic Dictionary, 1952), and published Ivan Franko’s works in 20 volumes (1956–62), Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky’s works in two volumes (1955), and some children's literature.
