Holovaty, Pavlo
Holovaty, Pavlo [Головатий, Павло; Holovatyj], b ca 1715, d ca 1795. Last military judge (see Military tribunals) of the Zaporozhian Sich. When the Sich was razed in 1775, he was arrested, tried in Saint Petersburg, and exiled for life to Znamenie Monastery in Tobolsk, Siberia.
