Korobka, Fedir

Korobka, Fedir [Коробка, Федір], b and d ? Cossack leader and diplomat. He was the acting colonel of Chyhyryn regiment (1649–50) and general quartermaster of the Hetman state (1650–4, 1669). He made important diplomatic missions for hetmans Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Yurii Khmelnytsky and Ivan Vyhovsky to Moscow (1657), Sweden (1657–8), Turkey (1657), and Moldavia (1657), and served on the staff of Hetman Petro Doroshenko.
