Kyiv Museum of Church Antiquities

Kyiv Museum of Church Antiquities (Церковно-археологічний музей при Київській духовній академії; Tserkovno-arkheolohichnyi muzei pry Kyivskii dukhovnii akademii). A collection of over 20,000 church monuments, manuscripts, incunabula, and documents (icons, portraits, coins) established in 1878 in Kyiv by Mykola I. Petrov of the Kyiv Society of Church History and Archeology (est 1872) at the Kyiv Theological Academy. In 1923 it became part of the Lavra Museum of Cults and Way of Life (see Kyivan Cave Monastery). Eventually, the collection was dispersed among various museums.
