Luhansk National Agricultural University

Luhansk National Agricultural University [Луганський національний аграрний університет; Luhanskyi natisonalnyi ahrarnyi universytet]. An institution of higher learning in Luhansk. It was formed in 1921 as the Luhansk Agricultural Institute out of a secondary agricultural school. In 1997 it was granted a national university status and assumed its present name. The university has ten faculties, including agronomy, veterinary medicine, economics, agricultural mechanization, and food science. The student enrollment is over 20,000.
