Ripetsky, Teodor

Ripetsky, Teodor (Fedir) [Ripec’kyj], b 1861, d 1901. Priest and community activist. He was the initiator of the Ryznytsia church goods trade association and established a shelter for the widows and orphans of priests in Sambir. Among his works on historical and religious topics were Illiustrovannaia narodnaia istoriia Rusi (The Illustrated Popular History of Rus’, 1890) and Vybrani zhyttia sviatykh (A Selection of Saints' Lives, 1890).
