Rus’ka nyva

Rus’ka nyva («Руська нива»; Ruthenian Field). A weekly organ of the Ruthenian Agrarian party, published in Uzhhorod in 1920–4 and edited by Mykhailo Brashchaiko. The newspaper helped further Ukrainian national consciousness in Transcarpathia and promoted a pan-Ukrainian identity. Initially it used etymological spelling.
