Sukhyi Torets River

Sukhyi Torets River [Сухий Торець; Suxyj Torec']. A left-bank tributary of the Kazennyi Torets River that flows eastward for 101 km through the Donets Ridge in Kharkiv oblast and Donetsk oblast and drains a basin area of 1,610 km. It is generally level, with a width of 10 m and a valley of 3–4 km. Its waters are used mainly for irrigation and domestic consumption. The major centers along the river include Barvinkove and Sloviansk.
