Symoniv, Dmytro

Symoniv, Dmytro [Симонів, Дмитро], b 24 October 1876 in Maikop, Kuban region, d 1938 in Donetsk oblast. Civic figure and state administrator. A leading member of the Ukrainian Party of Socialists-Independentists, he was a director of the state auditing commission in the Hetman government (1918) and the state comptroller in the Directory of the Ukrainian National Republic under Volodymyr Chekhivsky and Serhii Ostapenko (December 1918 to April 1919). He was arrested during the Stalinist terror and executed.
