Tserkva i narid

Tserkva i narid («Церква і нарід»; Church and Nation). The semimonthly religious journal published from March 1935 to December 1938 in Kremenets by the council of the Volhynia eparchy of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox church. Edited by Ivan Vlasovsky, the journal supported the autocephaly and Ukrainianization of the church. Ninety-one issues appeared before the journal was forced to close by the Polish authorities. The journal’s press also published some 30 books and pamphlets.
