Ukrainian Pedagogical Society in Prague

Ukrainian Pedagogical Society in Prague (Українське педагогічне товариство в Празі; Ukrainske pedahohichne tovarystvo v Prazi, or УПТ; UPT). A society founded in 1930 by Stepan Siropolko as a continuation of the Skovoroda Philosophical-Pedagogical Society, which had existed since 1925. It undertook practical measures to help teachers, most notably in attempting to secure for them teaching positions in Transcarpathia. One volume of Pratsi UPT (Works of the Ukrainian Pedagogical Society, 1932) appeared.
