Vil’na ukraïns’ka shkola

Vil’na ukraïns’ka shkola («Вільна українська школа»; Free Ukrainian School). An organ of the All-Ukrainian Teachers' Association, published in Kyiv in 1917–19. It published articles on pedagogy and teaching methodology and devoted particular attention to the development of a modern Ukrainian education system. The editors were Spyrydon Cherkasenko and then Oleksander Doroshkevych, and prominent contributors included Volodymyr Durdukivsky, Oleksander Muzychenko, Sofiia Rusova, Stepan Siropolko, Petro Kholodny, Yakiv Chepiha-Zelenkevych, and Ivan Yushchyshyn.
