Zarubin, Aleksandr

Zarubin, Aleksandr [Зарубин, Александр], b ca 1881, d January 1920 in Rostov-na-Donu. Russian political figure. He was a leading member of the Russian Party of Socialist Revolutionaries in Ukraine (see Socialist Revolutionaries), which he represented in the Central Rada in 1917. He was appointed minister of postal and telegraph services in the Ukrainian National Republic by the Little Rada, and resigned in January 1918 following the declaration of independence of the UNR.
