Zlataia tsip

Zlataia tsip («Златая ціп»; Golden Chain). A collection of original and translated sermons popular in medieval Ukraine. Several different editions of the manuscript have survived. Topics covered in the sermons include faith, love, fasting, and refraining from usury. Zlataia tsip had an important impact on the development of Ukrainian homiletics.
