Yazlovsky, Borys [Язловський, Борис; Jazlovs'kyj], b 1 September 1894 in Kyiv, d 26 December 1937 in Kyiv. Legal historian. In the early 1920s he taught law at the Kyiv Institute of the National Economy. He also served as secretary of the Society of Ukrainian Jurists and as a member of the Commission for the Study of Ukraine's Customary Law at the All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. Two of his articles were published in the commission’s Pratsi (1925, 1928). He was arrested by the OGPU in 1929 and again during the Stalinist terror in 1937; he was executed without trial.
