Bukovynian Battalion of 1919

Bukovynian Battalion of 1919 (Буковинський курінь; Bukovynskyi kurin). Volunteer military formation organized in Kolomyia by M. Topushchak. The battalion, which consisted of refugees from Bukovyna, was attached to the Third Iron Rifle Division of the Army of the Ukrainian National Republic and saw action against the Red Army. The commanding officer was O. Kantemir.
