Myhura, Ivan (Мигура, Іван; Mihura; monastic name: Ilarion), b and d ? Early-18th-century engraver. He was educated at the Kyivan Mohyla College and became an archdeacon at the Kyivan Cave Monastery and hegumen of Saint Nicholas's Monastery in Baturyn (1709–12). He made over 20 panegyric engravings, consisting of portraits and verses in honor of such notables as Hetmans Ivan Mazepa, Petro Konashevych-Sahaidachny, Ivan Skoropadsky, and Danylo Apostol, Metropolitan Stefan Yavorsky, Vasyl Kochubei, and Ivan Lomykovsky; prints of Saint John Chrysostom and Saint Nicholas; and printed portraits of Andrii Voinarovsky and Metropolitan Varlaam Yasynsky and a self-portrait. A virtually complete collection of his printing blocks has been preserved at the Museum of the Book and Printing of Ukraine in the National Kyivan Cave Historical-Cultural Preserve.
