Aspys or Asotsiiatsiia pysmennykiv (Association of Writers). A writers' association in Kyiv in 1923–4. Among its members were Hryhorii Kosynka, Valeriian Pidmohylny, Yurii Mezhenko, Borys Antonenko-Davydovych, Yevhen Pluzhnyk, M. Halych, Maksym Rylsky, Mykola Zerov, Mykhailo Mohyliansky, Mykhailo Ivchenko. In 1924 it disintegrated, and most of its members formed the group Lanka and later MARS.
