Bilozerka settlement

Bilozerka settlement. A settlement of the late Bronze Age (11th-early 8th century BC) on the northern bank of the Bilozerka Liman near Kamianka-Dniprovska in Zaporizhia oblast. Remains of a large dwelling with three hearths, bronze knives and awls, flint arowheads, and fragments of clay pottery were unearthed in 1946–7. The settlement is considered to belong to the late Timber-Grave culture, and its inhabitants are believed to have been related to the Cimmerians.
