Bilozersky, Mykola

Bilozersky, Mykola [Bilozers'kyj], b 1833 in Motronivka, Borzna county, Chernihiv gubernia, d 23 June 1896 in Borzna. An ethnographer and folklorist, brother of Vasyl Bilozersky. He published Iuzhnorusskie letopisi (South Russian Chronicles) in Kyiv in 1856 and collected Ukrainian historical and ethnographical materials. Bilozersky collected valuable materials to Taras Shevchenko's biography.
