Bondarenko, Ivan, b in the village of Hruzke in the Kyiv region, d 19 August 1768 in Chornobyl. Haidamaka chief who operated in the regions around Brusyliv, Makariv, and Radomyshl. He was noted for his bravery. Bondarenko was captured by the Poles and executed.
