Carp

Carp (Cyprinus carpio; Ukrainian: короп; korop). A valuable commercial freshwater fish, up to 1 m in length and 20 kg in weight (usually 1–3 kg). The carp is common in the rivers of Ukraine, particularly in the lower Dnister River and the Danube River. It is also raised in ponds.
