Factory seven-year school

Factory seven-year school [Фабрично-заводська семирічка, ФЗС; Fabrychno-zavodska semyrichka, FZS]. An incomplete secondary school in the Ukrainian SSR that was introduced in industrial settlements in the second half of the 1920s on the model of the general seven-year school for the purpose of combining a general education with an introduction to the production process of the neighborhood enterprise. The factory seven-year schools had no practical significance and were turned into normal seven-year schools when the school system was reorganized in 1934.
