Henry I

Henry I, b ca 1008, d 4 August 1060 at Vitry-aux-Loges, near Orléans. The king of France from 1031. In 1051 he married Anna Yaroslavna of Kyiv, the daughter of Grand Prince Yaroslav the Wise. Henry's and Anna's older son, Philip I, was the successor to Henry; their younger son, Hugh, became the count of Vermandois.
