Kaniv Hydroelectric Station

Kaniv Hydroelectric Station [Канівська ГЕС; Kanivska HES]. One of stations of the Dnipro Cascade of Hydroelectric Stations, built on the Dnipro River near Kaniv between 1963 and 1975. Its 24 turbine generators (total capacity: 444,000 kW) produce an annual average output of 323 million kWh.
