Kholm Gospel

Kholm Gospel. A 167-sheet gospel written in the late 13th century, probably in Kholm. Its Church Slavonic language is distinguished by Ukrainian phonetic features. An excerpt from the work appeared in Aleksei Sobolevsky's Ocherki iz istorii russkogo iazyka (Outlines on the History of the Russian Language, 1884). The gospel is preserved in the Russian State Library in Moscow.
