Lenin Lake. (Map: Lenin Lake.) An artificial lake near the mouth of the Samara River that connects to the Dnieper Reservoir, formed above the dam of the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station in Zaporizhia. The lake is 10 km long and up to 3 km wide and has a basin area of 17 sq km.
