Narbut, Danylo [Нарбут, Данило], b 22 January 1916 in Petrograd, d 3 March 1998 in Cherkasy, Cherkasy oblast. Painter and theatrical set designer; son of Heorhii Narbut. He completed the All-Union Courses for Theater Artists at the All-Russian Academy of Arts in 1935. He worked for various theaters in Ukraine, including the Chernivtsi Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater in the 1940s, the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Academic Music and Drama Theater in the 1950s, and the Cherkasy Oblast State Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater from the 1960s.
