Oselivka archeological site

Oselivka archeological site (Оселівська стоянка; Oselivska stoianka). A multi-occupational Stone Age settlement located on the Dnister River near Oselivka, Kelmentsi raion, Chernivtsi oblast. Excavations in the 1920s by Romanian archeologists and in 1966–8 uncovered two Paleolithic settlements and a single Mesolithic occupation. In all three strata a wide variety of animal bones (mammoth, horses, deer) and flint pieces were found.
