Rededia, b ?, d 1022. Prince of the Kasogians (now called the Cherkess Caucasian mountain people). In a war against the prince of Tmutorokan, Mstyslav Volodymyrovych, Rededia proposed single combat between the leaders in order to spare the armies, and he lost the duel. The incident is noted in the epic Slovo o polku Ihorevi (The Tale of Ihor's Campaign).
