Shliakh (The Way). A weekly organ of the Ukrainian Catholic metropoly in the United States, published in Philadelphia since 1940. Since 1946 a parallel English-language version has been published as The Way. Both papers contain articles on the history of Ukrainian church, popular theology, news, and belles lettres, mostly on religious themes. The editors of Shliakh have been V. Fedash (1946–9), Petro Isaiv (1949–54), L. Mydlovsky (1954–75), M. Dolnytsky, and I. Skochylias. The Way has been edited by Revs M. Fedorovych, Robert Moskal, R. Popivchak, and others.
