Stará L’ubovňa

Stará L’ubovňa. A town (2005 pop 16,363) on the Poprad River in the Prešov region of Slovakia, near the border of Ukrainian ethnic territory. Twenty-six villages out of 44 in the surrounding area have a predominantly Ukrainian (Lemko) population. An important Ruthenian People's Council in L’ubovňa took place there in 1918.
