Trehubov, Yelysei

Trehubov, Yelysei [Трегубов, Єлисей], b 14 February 1848 in Poltava, d 4 December 1921. Teacher and journalist. A graduate of Kyiv University (1872), he taught in Hlukhiv, Kursk, and Sumy before settling in Kyiv in 1876. There he taught at the Galagan College, was involved with the Hromada of Kyiv, and worked closely with Volodymyr Naumenko in the publishing of Kievskaia starina. In 1918 he became involved in the early work of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
