Vereshchytsia River

Vereshchytsia River [Верещиця; Vereščycia]. (Map: Vereshchytsia River.) A left-bank tributary of the Dnister River that flows southward for 91 km through Lviv oblast and drains a basin area of 955 sq km. The river has small weirs constructed at intervals for almost its entire length. The town of Horodok (Lviv oblast) is situated along it.
