Visnyk (Winnipeg)

Visnyk (Winnipeg) («Вісник»; Herald). A Ukrainian Orthodox newspaper published in Winnipeg, Manitoba since April 1924. Until 1928 it appeared monthly and was called Pravoslavnyi visnyk. Since then it has appeared semimonthly, from 1954 as the official organ of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada. The editors have included Revs Semen Sawchuk, Vasyl Kudryk, Ye. Hrytsyna, and Stepan Yarmus.
