Vpered (Munich)

Vpered (Munich) (Forward). A monthly paper for Ukrainian workers, published by the left Vpered faction of the Ukrainian Revolutionary Democratic party in Munich from April 1949 to December 1959. It contained articles on developments in Soviet Ukraine, international politics, and Ukrainian émigré life written from a democratic socialist perspective. The editors were Ivan Maistrenko, Vsevolod Holubnychy, Borys Levytsky, E. Bobykevych, and V. Ryvak. Hryhory Kostiuk and Viktor Sabal (pseud: V. Chorny) were regular contributors.
