Zemlia i volia (KPZU)

Zemlia i volia (KPZU) [«Земля і воля»; Land and Freedom]. An underground organ of the Communist Party of Western Ukraine (KPZU), published irregularly in 1925–9. Issues were printed mostly in Germany, but also by an illegal KPZU press near Warsaw, and smuggled into Western Ukraine. For a short time in 1929 both major factions of the KPZU published a journal with the same name.
