Zhinochyi svit

Zhinochyi svit [«Жіночий світ»; Woman’s World]. A monthly organ of the Ukrainian Women's Organization of Canada, published in Winnipeg from January 1950 to 1973 and in Toronto since then. Before 1950 it appeared as a regular section in the newspaper Novyi shliakh. It contains reports on the organization’s activities; articles on culture, history, and the women's movement; and a separate page devoted to children. The first editors included K. Kandyba-Lazor, N. Syniavska, and Stefaniia Bubniuk. The journal is now edited by a board.
