Meta, weekly («Мета»; Goal). A weekly organ of the Ukrainian Catholic Union, published in Lviv from 1931 to 1939. It contained articles on political developments in Western Ukraine and Soviet Ukraine and throughout the world, written mostly from a liberal Catholic perspective, as well as reports on the activities of the Ukrainian Catholic church. Considerable attention was paid to the role of young people and women in the church, and special sections dealt with culture and literature. The longtime managing editor was P. Kozytsky.
