Mnohohrishny, Vasyl [Многогрішний, Василь; Mnohohrišnyj, Vasyl'], b and d ? Cossack leader; brother of Hetman Demian Mnohohrishny. He served as osaul of Nizhyn regiment (1664–8), emissary to Moscow (1668), captain of Chernihiv regiment (1671–2), and acting hetman (1671). In 1672, after the deposition of his brother, he was tortured in Moscow and exiled to Siberia. He later regained official favor and became a junior boyar in Krasnoiarsk and commander of local imperial troops (1682–94).
