Narodna chasopys’ («Народна часопись»; People’s Periodical). A Ukrainian-language supplement to Gazeta Lwowska, the Polish-language organ of the Austria-Hungary’s government in Galicia, published daily except Sundays and holidays from December 1890 until the outbreak of the First World War and in 1918. It contained extensive reports on government activities, excerpts from speeches in the Viennese parliament and Galician Diet, reprints from Austrian and other newspapers, and numerous articles on international affairs. Some articles on historical and cultural topics and some poetry and prose were also published. Among its editors were A. Krechowiecki (who also edited Gazeta Lwowska), V. Berezovsky, and Kyrylo Kakhnykevych.
